Worst Indian food, never eat here
I was totally disappointed with food quality. It seemed that the restaurant owner came here to do just business and not look into food quality. Food tasted bad and seemed that they were not fresh cooked. I had stomach problems within an hour after eating the lunch from this place. I would never go back to Shalimar of India and would recommend others also not to eat food at Shalimar of India.

Shalamar rightfully deserves the following as a family operated restaurant. The people who work there are nice, we've known them for a long time, and are always greeted by a "hello, how are you?" every time. The food is excellent with the coconut soup right on top of my favorites, there is spicy or non-spicy to order, and there is more than enough for both vegetarians, omnivores, and vegans alike to eat. While the front of the store isn't glitzy or glamorous, the inside will find you in a cozy environment with original Indian tapestries up on the wall. -DL-M

Never Disappointed. I love everything about Shalimar. I love that you can pick your spice level for every dish. The food is wonderful the people are very friendly. My water is always full and my belly is too by the time I leave.

I love the food there, it's a mom-and-pop kind of place, so I don't really care that the prices are expensive (you'll get huge portions, though). The sunday lunch buffet's a good deal, and they tend to switch up their dishes every week for it. Lunch prices are cheaper, as the portions are smaller, but also much more manageable (e.g., you'll be able to eat all of your meal without feeling like your stomach will burst). Love the basmati rice pullao (comes free with meal) and the nan.

Went for lunch. Had an assortment of items as I went with several friends and we shared dishes. Everything was fresh and flavorful. If you want excellend Indian food in the Burlintgton area this is the place to go! They even gave us extra rice to take home! Service was fantastic! Other friends were hesitant to go because of location but everyone raves about the place after!
