I was hoping for a nice meal and decided to try the East Side Restaurant again. It's been about 5 years since my last visit.

Well....things haven't changed much. The food looks good but just doesn't taste that great. The scallops were under cooked and had some kind of undesirable spice. My friend's porterhouse steak was tender but had a strange rub on it. Ok, I know they say it's alright to eat raw scallops if they are fresh…but I didn't go there to eat under cooked scallops.

I'm wondering if the chef (?) actually tastes anything that goes out of the kitchen. The waitress couldn't tell us much about the food because she hadn't tasted it either. We ordered wine with our dinner and it arrived in a bucket of ice water that overflowed and ran over the table.

Not much attention to detail for a place that's suppose to be upscale dining.
