Unfamiliar with the area , I called ahead to get an idea about pricing and the menu. Debbie, I believe, was very helpful with my questions, leading me to choose Gilles.

We were meeting people from MA and they were delighted with the food, service and prices.

I started with a heaping serving of mussels and for my meal I had the mediterranean fish soup (house special), served with a rosemary bread. I still think about about it! We all ordered from the lunch specials and no one was disappointed! There was a price for every budget. Everyone already knows what they want on their the next visit to Gilles.

Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!

We started out with oysters on the half shell and steamed mussels. Then I had the lobster dinner. My friends had baby back ribs, the Cioppino Fish Stew and the fried clam dinner. Everything was yummy. We had chocolate martinis for dessert. I was so full I couldn't move. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff is so friendly. I used to go to Gillies on Canal Street. and then they were gone. I didn't know they had moved. But we were on route 9 one day on our way to Mt. Snow and we passed "Gillies" in West Brattleboro. So we stopped. And YES, it was the same great place ! You've got to try Gillies. You will love it.

Gillies is the best. Great Food, friendly staff. I love the new location in West Brattleboro. The seafood is so fresh. On our last visit, I had the lobster dinner, my wife had the fried haddock. The kids had burgers. Nest time I'm going to try one of their new surf and turfs. Sirloin with scallops. You have got to try Gillies.

Great food, and lots of it. Casual and cozy. Very friendly wait staff. Going to Gillies is now part of our weekly routine. And for those folks who don,t know. Gillies moved from canal St to 911 Western AV in West Brattleboro. Going North or South on I-91, take exit 2. Go right (or West) one mile. Gillies is on the right. Its the same owners (Frank and Deb) and the same great menu.
